Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to what members ask most before voting.

Follow these steps in order:

• Check your SMS Spam folder and email Spam / Promotions / Other folders.
• Wait at least 2 full minutes — OTPs can be delayed by network congestion.
• Only then click Resend — and use only the most recently received OTP.
• Delete older OTP messages first to avoid entering an expired one.

If still not received, contact nGauge support via WhatsApp at +91 8408867418.
Two common causes:

1. Expired or superseded OTP: Multiple "Resend" requests invalidate all previous codes. Always use only the most recent OTP received.
2. Extra space when copy-pasting: Ensure there is no accidental blank space at the beginning or end of the OTP — the system will reject it even with one extra space.

To fix:
Delete all old OTP messages, request a fresh OTP, wait 2 minutes, then manually type (rather than paste) the 8-digit code.
First check your Spam, Promotions, and Other folders in both email and SMS.
If still missing, generate your link at eballot.ngauge.co.in

• Click "Submit Query" for your election
• Enter your registered Mobile or Email
• Submit the OTP sent to you
• Click "I do not have my Unique Voting Link"
• Click "Resend my unique voting link to my registered mobile number and email" → OK

Your link will be sent automatically via system to your registered email and mobile.
Mobile phones sometimes fail to highlight a web link in its entirety within an SMS. If you tap a partially highlighted link, you will see an "Invalid URL" error.

Fix: Instead of tapping the link directly, copy the entire SMS message, paste it into your Notes App, and then tap the voting link from there.
No. Your voting link is unique to you and is secured by an OTP that is sent only to your registered mobile and email.

Even if someone else accessed your link, they could not complete the vote without the OTP. Sharing your link is also a violation of election rules.
Switch Networks: Change your connection — for example, move from Wi-Fi to mobile data to get a fresh IP address.

Switch Devices: If the network change doesn't work, try switching from a laptop to a mobile phone or vice versa.
Please update your Browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) from the Play Store or App Store to the latest version.
Try these steps in order:

• Clear your browser cache and reload the page
• Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa)
• Try a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
• Try a different device altogether

If the issue persists, contact nGauge support via WhatsApp at +91 8408867418 or email eballot@ngauge.co.in with your name, Member ID, and a screenshot.
